Important/memorable party

I really have trouble for choosing a “memorable” or very significant party which I’d like to talk, so I’ll talk about my school prom party. It’s been in December 2012 in Viña del Mar.

First of all, because that day Silvio Rodríguez was playing at the Estadio Nacional and I couldn’t go to the concert because of it. Secondly, because it was the last time that I saw many classmates, because I was not very close to all of them so after college I’ve never seen them again, just my best friends. And third, because it was the last party that I went with my ex girlfriend before breaking up.

I guess those three big reasons would be enough to say that yes, my prom party has been “important” or significant for me. That day has been a kind of transition, a kind of “end of an era” for me and beginning of another. It ends many links with my school and was like the beginning of my university times. I finished a relationship and few so called friendships, in a symbolic way, that day. It’s been a kind of before and after.

A country I'd like to visit

A country I’d really like to visit is England for three big reasons: its culture, its music and its football. About the first of them, I would like to go to historical places such as the middle ages castles, the ancient constructions, etc. About the music, I love music and most of my favorite bands are English, so I’d like to visit the places where they have grown and of course, to see a concert of them, because many of its will never come to Chile. And finally about the football, it’s my favorite sport and the English Premier League it’s the best football league of the whole world, so watching a game, never mind the teams involved, just the sensation of being in their big stadiums watching a big game.
Of course, I’d really like to live, study or work there. I could study to improve my English, or making postgraduate studies. Knowing that I’d like to work in something related with music, I’d love to live in England too, near one of the most important music nests of the world.

First Post

My ideal job would be as a broadcaster in a rock music radio, or if it is no possible as a reporter, but always in a rock music radio. Even more ideal would be in London, but if it’s in Chile it’s ok. A job where I could speak about music all day and get paid for that it’s perfect.

For being good at this job I should know a lot about music, about new bands, history of rock music, Chilean rock, etc. I should be all the time knowing what’s going on in the world’s music panorama, expecting new releases and concerts.

I’d be good at this job because I spend all day listening to music, discovering new bands and sharing different points of view about some music waves with my friends. I think I have a big knowledge about rock music and that would make easier things for me.

Unfortunately, the workplace of the music radios isn’t very extensive, so getting this kind of job in Chile it’s very difficult. By other way, in countries with a bigger music culture would be less hard get a job.
